The Mill Field is a rare area of undeveloped open space nestled between the village of Old Basing and Lychpit on the outskirts of Basingstoke in Hampshire, England. A haven for wildlife, this formally agricultural land has been left undisturbed for the last 10 years.

The site has been designated both Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) by Hampshire County Council to help safeguard the future of the fields wildlife.

The Group records wildlife and plants, and carries out work parties during the winter to preserve the open space. Volunteers are always welcome.
